BLM has informed our ECR FireWise Committee that they will begin clearing lands [utilizing chainsaws and a masticator machine] on the east side of our development at the fenceline on October 31st. This area consists of the land between the power lines and ECR properties.
This will create a fuel break and help keep our neighborhoods safe.
Please keep track of your volunteer hours performed on your property. An hourly worksheet is an easy way to keep track of these numbers. Please provide to our ECR volunteers or via email to ecr.dewey@gmail.com at your convenience.
