January Meeting took place on January 6th. The January Agenda for that HOA meeting is online.
A vote was taken to start quarterly HOA member meetings rather than bi-monthly. A new schedule will be updated online asap.
We are holding a COMMUNITY TOWN HALL on January 30th, please come. This won't be an HOA voting meeting. This is to provide an open door discussion and communication gathering to move forward with the CC&Rs and more. We are working on performing it on ZOOM for those who do not live nearby. Further details to come
We absolutely need your input, knowledge and help in devising the momentum to move forward for our members of The Estates at Cherry Ridge community.
This meeting, and all at the moment, affect you and all of our community. Be in the know - Be part of the answer - Be part of the conversation - Be part of your homeowner's association community. Votes come and go - be prepared to speak your ideas, suggestions and opinions. Thank you!
Update: Volunteers needed for the Roads committee. Volunteer for the new opening as a chairperson on the Board
The Estates at Cherry Ridge is located off the southbound side of Route 169 and east of Route 69, just south along Arizona Route 169 near the 3-mile marker. (*Note* If your maps programs brings you to the Grant Woods entrance/exit - Please Note, this gate is closed to all non-emergency vehicles). Please enter on South Dewey Overlook Way. Currently, this gate is not lock and open.
Enter by driving south off Hwy 169 onto Dewey Overlook Way, go through the entrance gates, follow Dewey Overlook Way through a hairpin turn, and the road dead ends at Bonanza Trail. Turn right and you will delighted with Endless View Drive and other southern portions of this breathtaking community. Turn left and follow a sloping road around the hill, proceed with care along a blind hill portion of the road that connects with S. Grant Woods Parkway which, to the left (no need to turn, just follow through) which leads to views beyond measure. Some of these roads along this northern route are Sterling Spur, True Grit and Jamestown, turn right and you go to the end of the Cherry Ridge property by the cattle guard.
PLEASE PROCEED AT THE REDUCED COMMUNITY SPEED FOR YOUR SAFETY, FOR THE COMMUNITY AND ALL NEIGHBORING ANIMALS THAT USE THE ROADS FOR ACCESS! Thank you very much for your understanding!
As one may imagine, wildlife is abundant and there are frequent sightings of deer, elk, coyote, javelinas, owls, hawks, quail, and vultures. Bobcats and even an occasional mountain lion have been spotted from time to time.

The easiest way to prevent frozen water pipes when the weather is drops below 32 degrees, as it is this week, let the cold water drip from ALL faucets serving any and all exposed pipes. Running water through the pipe - even at a trickle - helps prevent pipes from freezing. Google says, Yes, it's recommended you leave a faucet on with water at a drip to keep pipes from freezing. If you know where the water comes into your house, turn on a faucet at the opposite end to ensure the water continues to circulate. However, on the flip side, they state that outside temperatures need to be below 28 degrees, for a total of at least four consecutive hours. Your question of should it be hot or cold water to be left on to drip -- it's cold water The faucet should drip five times per minute or a gallon an hour.
